Naval, Biliran – The residents of Biliran Province will soon have access to a private hospital that will rise in Sitio Puro Tugas, Brgy. Calumpang, Naval, Biliran.
Dr. Nonoy Trumata and Mr. William Diu led the groundbreaking rites for the Christ the Healer Hospital on January 8, 2019. Former Naval Mayor Susan Parilla and PHO Dr. Edgar T. Veloso were among the few who attended the event.
The proposed hospital will be a two-level structure with a floor area of 3,000 square meters in a 5.6 hectare lot. It will have a 50-bed capacity and will employ an initial 61 nurses. It is expected to generate many job opportunites in allied and non- allied health professions.
