CAIBIRAN, Biliran – A joint operation of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Caibiran Drug Enforcement Unit and the Provincial DEU led to the arrest of a newly identified drug personality in Caibiran, Biliran on July 3.
Caibiran Chief of Police Vic Viros identified the suspect as Ronald Corpin, alias Ando, 29, construction worker, and a resident of Brgy. Palanay, Caibiran, Biliran.
During the anti-drugs operation, authorities retrieved from Corpin two plastic sachets of substance believed to be shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and the marked buy-bust money.
Corpin will face charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165. – BiliranIsland.com
