Joint elements of the Phil. Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in region 8, Naval Police Station and the Biliran Prov’l Anti-Illegal Drugs Special OperationTask Force (PAIDSOT) arrested Ian Caneja in a buy bust operation at around 2:15 am on Sept. 15, 2012 near Cinemar (a motorcyle display center) located in P. Inocentes St. in Barangay P.I. Garcia, Naval, Biliran.
Confiscated from Caneja were as follows: 2 small sachets containing white crystalline powder believed to be shabu, 1 unit cellphone, one pc. brown wallet, P17,000 in cash, P1,000 mark money, P300 cash inside his wallet and one unit single motorcyle. A case in violation of RA 9165 will be filed in court against Caneja by the arresting authorities.
