Cops arrested three persons for different offenses

Naval, Biliran— Local cops arrested three persons facing different offenses and bases on the warrants of arrest issued upon them by local courts.

First to be arrested was Ronnie Andaya y Gelizon, 23, with live-in partner, security guard, and resident at Sitio Omas, Brgy San Isidro, Biliran, Biliran. He was arrested in his post in Brgy Santissimo Rosario, Naval, Biliran about 9:10 in the morning on Tuesday (Oct 13).

Andaya was arrested by virtue of a standing warrant dated July 12, 2018, under Criminal Case No. 4072 and issued by Marisa C. Renomeron-Posion, Presiding Judge of MTC, Naval, Biliran.

The local police carried out a manhunt operation, thru intelligence driven operation against other wanted person within the AOR which resulted in the arrest of the aforesaid accused, who was currently working as security guard at J&F store located at Padre Inocentes Street this municipality. Further, said accused was figured in an incident involving firearm sometime in December 2017 while working as security guard at Prince Superstore, the same located in this municipality.

A balibond of P30, 000 was given by the court for the temporary liberty of the arrested suspect.
Next to be arrested was Jovy Ann Plaza y Nabong, 24, single, jobless, a resident of Brgy. Sto. Niño, Naval. She was arrested about 5:30 in the afternoon on Tuesday (Oct 13) in her residence in Brgy. Sto. Niño here.

Plaza was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of P.D. 1602 (illegal gambling), dated February 9, 2018, Criminal Case No. 4053 and issued by Marisa C. Renomeron-Posion, Presiding Judge of MTC, Naval, Biliran.

Bail bond is fixed at Php10, 000.00 for the temporary liberty of the arrested suspect.
Also arrested was Cesar Delantar, 35, with live-in partner, a resident of Sitio Bliss Brgy Calumpang, Naval, Biliran. He was arrested in his residence about 5:45 in the afternoon on Wednesday (Oct.14),

Delantar was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Less Serious Physical Injuries with criminal Case No. N-4119, dated October 13, 2020 and issued by Phenalyn P. Brazil- Abellar, Presiding Judge of MTC, Naval, Biliran. The court issued a fixed bail of P3000 for the temporary liberty of the suspect. – BiliranIsland.com
