NAVAL, Biliran (PIA) – An international-based charity organization, Sathya Sai Organization, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Biliran headed by Governor Gerardo “Gerryboy” Espina, Jr. and the Offfice of Congressman Rogelio J. Espina of the lone district of Biliran conducted a three-day medical mission in the province recently.
The medical mission aimed to help the victims of super typhoon Yolanda in Biliran province who are really in need of medical assistance.
The medical mission was conducted in the three barangays of the municiaplity of Naval namely: Calumpang, Larrazabal and Atipolo.
The medical mission was headed by Jan Floris, Organizer and Team Leader, with two foreign doctors in the persons of Dr. Rama Saichellappa and Dr. Manosh Bhardway, together with the Biliran Provincial Hospital doctors led by Dr. Edgar Veloso, Chief of the Hospital who is also the Provincial Health Officer of the province.
