Naval Central School (NCS) of Naval, Biliran wins the 2014 regional inter-school Banda Rayhak marching band competition elementary level.NCS also gets the following special awards: best band leader, most inspiring majorette, best interpretation of the Pintados theme, best drum section and the best trainer while Cassidy Elementary School of Carigara, Leyte gets the best in uniform and the Dolongan Elementary School of Basey,Samar as the best in color guards.
Elementary 3rd place-Rizal Central Elementary School of Tacloban City-75.33 percent; 2nd placer- Dolongan Elementary School- 82 percent; champion-Naval Central School-85 percent. High School 3rd place- St. Therese Child Development Center Foundation, Incorporated-79.77 percent; 2nd place- Naval State University-82.4 percent and the champion, Holy Infant College of Tacloban City-92.27 percent.
3rd prize winners both in the elementary and high school levels received a cash prize of P15,000 plus trophy.
2nd prize winners received cash prize of P25,000 plus trophy while the champion received P35,000 plus trophy and the non-winners of P5,000 for each participating schools.
