Biliran LGU’s prepare for Typhoon Hagupit (Ruby); classes at all levels suspended
All Local Government Units of Biliran province issued class suspension at all levels effective Dec. 4-5, 2014 ‘in preparation to ensure the safety of pupils and students for the coming of typhoon Hagupit’.
The municipality of Culaba, however, suspended the classes only on December 5.
Also, Naval State University (NSU) issued office order No. 50 series of 2014 dated Dec. 3, 2014 suspending classes on Dec. 4-5, 2014.
Hagupit, an international name of the typhoon which will be re-named as Ruby once it enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to PAG-ASA is expected to enter at the PAR on Thursday, Dec.4, and will have its landfall by Saturday.
