MARIPIPI, Biliran – A resident of this island town was arrested at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 11, by police elements in a buy-bust operation.
Allan Custodio, a resident of Barangay Binongtoan, located in the town proper of Maripipi, was arrested in possession of four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
This is the first recorded illegal drug-related arrest made by police elements of this town.
The suspect is now detained in the lock up cell of Maripipi police station for violation of Sec. 5 of RA 9165. – BiliranIsland.com
