NAVAL, Biliran – A 44-year-old tricycle driver was arrested by police at the Naval town hall after he was found out carrying a 38 caliber pistol and 13 live ammunitions.
Solomon Paghid, a resident of Barangay Catmon, Naval, Biliran was arrested on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at around 12 noon at the town hall located in Barangay P.I. Garcia, Naval, Biliran.
Paghid was arrested for violation of Sec. 28 of RA 10591.
According to some residents in Barangay Catmon, Paghid was one of the ESA recipients in Barangay Catmon who will receive cash assistance scheduled for release that day.
DSWD released on Tuesday ESA cash assistance in the amount of P30,000 for totally damage houses and P10,000 for partially damage houses to individuals previously identified as qualified ESA recipients. – BiliranIsland.com
