NAVAL, Biliran – With the recent issues allegedly accusing the management of Biliran’s front runner tourist spot- Sambawan Island, that stirred various comments from netizens, Cong. Rogelio J. Espina spoke up.
In an interview by BiliranIsland.com staff, the representative ‘is looking deeply and seriously with this issue concerning the Biliranons’.
He also requested the Sanguniang Panlalawigan ‘to investigate further on the alleged price hike and other pressing issues related to management of Sambawan’.
It has been known that after the outburst of the issue, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan spearheaded by Board Member Gerard Roger Espina already conducted an investigation and called the attention of the tourism officials of Maripipi and the developer of the said resort.
Further, Cong. Espina ‘assure the Biliranon that he will find a way to lower the rate for Biliranons who will visit the resort’.
Sambawan Dive Camp and Resort is declared as Region 8 tourism gem and formally launched to public last year.
