NAVAL, Biliran – Gerard Espina is proclaimed Naval’s mayor, ruling back the town after a decade in the hands with the late Gerardo Espina, Sr., his grandfather.
The young Espina recorded a landslide victory with 14, 939 votes over his rival Aim Limpiado with 6, 021 votes only.
Meanwhile, candidates under his line-up also secured majority of the local posts.
For the vice mayoralty race, Titing Curso who happened to be Espina’s ally won with 11, 192 votes against Jun del Rosario with 9, 875 votes only.
