NAVAL, Biliran – Nearly a thousand people including many from Dexter’s workforce and friends gathered Saturday July 31, 2016 at the Naval Cathedral after the funeral mass to attend the procession to his burial site in the Calumpang cemetery. Dexter Mesias died last July 25, 2016 following an asthma attack.
The funeral mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Benjie Pantas at the Naval Cathedral was attended by hundreds of people who wished to pay their last respects to a person whom they fondly remembered as a kind-hearted man.
Among those present in the mass were Culaba Mayor Reveldez and Leyte-Leyte Mayor Noli Ysidoro, from towns where he had been previously assigned as DILG official.
Dexter Mesias was also a DJ of Radyo Natin 103.9 FM Naval. DJ Gizmo.
Dexter Mesias is survived by his wife Maria Luisa Austria, his parents and his daughters Sophia and Sophie. – BiliranIsland.com
