Naval, Biliran – A suspected drug pusher was arrested on Monday after the police conducted a buy-bust operation around 10:30 a.m. in Barangay Smo. Rosario, Naval, Biliran.
The buy-bust operation was launched by joint elements of PDEA RO8-BPO, RSET, Biliran PPO DEU and Naval MPS.
The operation resulted in the arrest of one Hermie Fajardo, 36, married, and a resident of of Brgy. Smo. Rosario, Naval.
Police made the arrest after the suspect handed out a plastic sachet containing shabu to a police officer who acted as poseur buyer.
Recovered from the suspect were three plastic sachets of shabu, 3,000 cash, and the 5 pcs. P100 marked money.
The suspect is now detained at the Naval Police Station where he is facing raps for violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. – BiliranIsland.com
