NAVAL, Biliran – A buy-bust operation was conducted in Brgy. Sabang, Naval, Biliran around 12 noon today, August 29, 2019, and led to the arrest of a certain Karen Joy Amador y Caparro, a 30- year-old resident of Brgy. Agpangi, Naval, Biliran.
The entrapment was a joint operation of Biliran PDEU, Naval PNP, and PDEA led by PLT Vic Viros, PCMS Alan Delis, and IO2 Novemar Pinanonang. They were able to recover from the suspect’s possession a one plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as “Shabu”, and a five hundred peso marked money. She was then brought to Biliran Police Provincial Office in Larrazabal .
Karen Joy Amador was considered a high value target after being recently released from jail. She was arrested last August 19, 2015 for the same offense.
