ALMERIA, Biliran – A fire broke out at Brgy. Sampao in the municipality of Almeria around 12:26 am, April 4, leaving three (3) one-storey houses burned.
Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Almeria in coordination with BFP Naval and PNP Almeria responded the said fire incidence after a call from Brgy. Captain Danilo Calvez reporting the situation.
In an investigation conducted, the fire started from the house of Andronico Macascas – which caused an electrical short circuit, and spread to the other two houses owned by William Macascas and Aristona Fajardo, respectively.
According to FO3 Rey Alfaro, more or less P800,000 is the total estimate damage of the properties burnt.

“We still keep on reminding the people to be more careful and follow the tips being given by the fire protection authority to avoid this kind of situation”, he added.
