Naval,Biliran – The PNP Naval police force arrested six (6) navalians caught in the act of selling illegal drugs in buy bust operation on Tuesday noon, July 5, 2016 at Padre Inocentes St., Brgy. P.I. Garcia, Naval, Biliran.
According to the police chief inspector Nonito G. Suazula, the suspects were arrested while in the act of selling P500 worth of suspected “shabu” to a police poseur-buyer. The police said that each sachet containing “suspected” shabu is worth Php 500.
Seized from the suspects were twenty (20) pieces of transparent plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu”, one (1) piece of sachet containing suspected “marijuana” dried leaves, cash money of Php 5,500, eleven (11) cellular phones, the Php 500- peso bill marked money and an assortment of illegal drug paraphernalia.
Police identified the suspects as Edito Comendador Oral 48 years old , Bethel Romero 24 years old, Mark Anthony “Boknoy” Sabuag 22 years old, all three unemployed and residents of Brgy. Larrazabal, Naval Biliran and Reynaldo Raguro, 30 year-old pedicab driver residing at Brgy., Atipolo, Naval, Biliran.
Two of the suspects arrested are minors and now in the care of DSWD.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act are being prepared against the suspects. — biliranisland.com
