NAVAL, Biliran- A Magnitude 5 earthquake stuck off Biliran on Saturday and was felt in parts of central and eastern Visayas, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The epicenter of the earthquake is Brgy. Catmon, in Naval, Biliran. Aftershocks are still being felt.
Intensity 6 per MDRRMO monitoring in the Naval Municipal Hall. The aftershock was Intensity 3. No untoward outcomes reported so far.
According to PDDRMC Jun Dacillo, no reported casualties or injuries from the earthquake. Communication lines are ok, not disrupted. No brownout.
