NAVAL, Biliran – In two separate incidents, two female NSU college students had been the subject of attempted sexual assault by a sexual deviant on the loose.
On August 20, 2016 at 2 in the morning, a sexual molester was caught in the act of raping an eighteen year-old female college student.
Her sister was able to save her when she was awakened and called for help. The suspect rushed out of the house and was able to escape. The victim found out that her jogging pants and underwear were cut open. She underwent a medical examination and found out that no vaginal penetration happened. They were not able to identify the suspect.
Two days after the incident, another victim a 21- year old NSU student narrated to the police that on the 22nd of August 2016, she was awakened in the middle of the night when an unidentified man broke in her room in the boarding house located in Vicentillo St. The suspect pointed a sharp knife on her neck saying, “p#k#y#ta ko” (may I have sex with you).
The victim pleaded with the suspect not to continue his evil intent. The latter rushed out of the window. The victim only recalled that he was wearing a black bonnet.
The Naval police force are investigating thoroughly these reported sexual assaults also on the same date, on the 22nd of August 2016, a female student had been found murdered and possibly raped in her own house. The police are hoping that they will be able to catch the suspects.- BiliranIsland.com
