NAVAL, Biliran, Nov. 13, (BDEO) – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)- Biliran District Engineering Office (DEO) welcomes its new “commander-in-chief” in the person of Engr. Irwin L. Antonio. By virtue of Special-Order No. 233 dated November 06, 2023, Engr. Antonio is officially designated as Officer-In-Charge (OIC) – District Engineer (DE) of DPWH-Biliran DEO succeeding the newly retired Engr. Alfredo L. Bollido.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Planning and Design Section (PDS), Engr. Rosario B. Rosete is subsequently designated as the new OIC-Assistant District Engineer (ADE), vice Engr. Antonio by virtue of Special-Order No. 234 dated November 07, 2023.
As the new head-of-office, OIC-DE Antonio described himself as a disciplinary kind of leader when it comes to the timely submission of reports. “It is just a matter of discipline, because if all of us are disciplined enough to follow all the scheduled tasks that are given, we will not always be in a rush,” OIC-DE Antonio stressed.
Apart from his Infrastructure Development goals, OIC-DE Antonio also aims for lively and fun-filled activities for the employees under his leadership and the empowerment of its Rank and File Employees Association (RFEA). “I want this office to become a very vibrant family, a family with respect and care for each other and with willingness to give time to serve the people as well as to be a servant to each and every fellow employee,” OIC-DE Antonio said.
